3月後半～5月のワークショップに関するお知らせ
さて昨年から実施させていただいております研ぎ・柄つけ体験のワークショップになりますが、こちら有難いことに大変好評をいただいており、これまで1,700名以上の方にワークショップを提供してまいりました。
昨年同様3月後半～5月にかけて予約が殺到することが見込まれますので、余裕を持ってご予約いただけますと幸いです。
また、直前のご予約に関しては受入が難しい可能性がございますこと、予めご了承くださいませ。
寒さと暑さが入り混じる季節ではございますが、皆様どうぞお体に気をつけてよい春をお迎えくださいませ。

余談
弊社がワークショップを提供しようと思うきっかけは、日本の「いいものを長く大事に使用する」という考え・精神のもと、包丁の購入のみにとどまらず「お手入れ」をする方法を知っていただくことで、長く使用いただき「愛着を持っていただく」ことを目的として始めさせていただきました。
包丁も人間と同じようにお手入れがされないでいると錆びついたり、切れ味が悪くなったりとまるで感情があるかのように不機嫌になってしまいます。
ぜひ人生に一つあなただけの包丁を大事に愛していただけたら幸いです。
Announcement: Workshops from Late March to May
Dear Valued Customers,
I am Hirai from Japanese Knife Shop Hirai.
The cherry blossom season has arrived, and the warmth of spring is beginning to be felt. I hope you are all doing well.
Since last year, we have been offering knife sharpening and handle-attaching workshops, which have been incredibly well-received. So far, we have welcomed over 1,700 participants.
Similar to last year, we expect a high volume of reservations from late March through May. To secure your spot, we kindly encourage you to book early.
Please note that last-minute reservations may be difficult to accommodate.
As the season brings both lingering cold and emerging warmth, we hope you take good care of yourselves and enjoy a wonderful spring.

A Little Extra
The inspiration behind our workshops stems from the Japanese philosophy of “using good things carefully and long-term.” Beyond just selling knives, we wanted to teach proper maintenance so that users can cherish their knives for years and develop a deeper attachment to them. Like people, knives can “get upset” if neglected—they rust, lose their edge, and seem almost emotional. We’d be delighted if you could find and care for that one special knife to accompany you through life.
